Wedding photographer, Chai Bouphaphanh

When you start working on a wedding book rituals, the first thing you look for are good images that can convey or illustrate your text. My book A Lao Wedding sets the scene in the 70s. Without the photographs of that period, no much would have been left of the memories. If you are getting married, probably one of your anxiety is to find someone who can capture the magical moments of the wedding. I looked at thousands of images and there are some photographers I particularly like. Today, I would like to share some photos of Chai, who is a Lao returnee from Canada. His photos have appeared on the National Geographic. His favorite topic is to shoot weddings, people, cars, pets, night photography, landscapes and food. The wedding dresses are amazing, nobody in western countries would dare these colors: orange and pink with patches of blue. To my eyes, this is brilliant, we compete with the Bougainvillea.
